1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that on Sunday 30 June 2024 at Ryde, there will be a flying display by the Red Arrows Royal Air Force flying display team off Ryde. 2. The display will take place from 1130 for approximately 30 mins, over Ryde Sands. 3. Under the terms of the Dockyard Port of Portsmouth Order 2005 an Exclusion Zone for all vessels will be in force from 1115 to 1200 as detailed below: 50 44.05 N 001 09.50W 50 44.34 N 001 09.58W 50 43.60 N 001 07.79W 50 44.36 N 001 07.04W 50 45.05 N 001 08.72W
Not to be used for Navigation 4. The area will be marshalled by 5 Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boats displaying a black flag with ‘Safety’ in white text. These vessels have been supplied by Northern Exposure Rescue and can be contacted on VHF Ch 6 during the event. 5. Mariners are requested to vacate the area from 1115 until the completion of the display at 1200 and to comply with requests from the marshal craft. 6. The Exclusion Zone will be formally established by a Sécurité message on VHF Channel 11, by KHM Portsmouth. 7. Cancel this Local Notice to Mariners on 2 July 2024.
